Hours back, and a clear next lesson.
Know in minutes what your class misunderstood, copy by copy.
For secondary maths and science teachers
Photograph your class's handwritten work. Kalanko finds the first wrong step in each copy, names the error, and shows you the one the whole class shares. You keep the final word.
3/6First wrong step: step 3. Kalanko is not certain, and says so: ◐ Likely.

What we will measureAnalysis time per class, agreement with teachers, progress between two assignments.
One evening of marking
A grade says how much a student got wrong. Not where the reasoning slipped.
With 60 to 100 students per class, no one can read every line of every copy. The misconception stays hidden until the national exam.
How it works
A QR code identifies the student and the exercise without a name. Each step has its own box.
After class, with your Android phone, even without a network.
Kalanko transcribes each step, finds the first one that diverges and names the error, with a confidence level.
Where the class's lines of reasoning part ways, and what to go over tomorrow.
What you see
Tap a branch of the map: a sample copy opens alongside. Confirm a diagnosis, or send it back for checking.
1 line = 1 student. Branches leave the solution at the step of the first error.
Error: sign of b is wrong. The previous steps are consistent. Here b = −5, so −b = 5.
Spend 20 minutes on signs: −b when b is negative.
Kalanko never decides alone. When it hesitates, it says so, and the copy comes back to you.
Built for real classrooms
Photos wait on the phone and leave when the network returns, even on 2G.
No new hardware. The teacher's phone is the scanner.
Students write by hand, as they always have. Each step has its box.
The QR code replaces the name. Pseudonymisation starts on the worksheet.
Exercises and error types follow the Burkinabè curriculum, in French.

FAQ
No. Kalanko is for everyday classwork and homework, not exams. It shows where reasoning goes wrong; you decide what to do with it.
No. Every diagnosis carries a confidence level and uncertain cases come back to you. Kalanko never issues a verdict on its own.
Yes. You photograph copies offline; they wait on the phone and are analysed as soon as a network returns, even a slow one.
Students are identified by a QR code, not by name. Names never leave your phone: pseudonymisation starts on the worksheet.
